Question I have a LS inverter, S100, to test for my conveyor facility at my production line. When I am testing the inverter without a motor but the output voltage seem to drop during accelerating. I need to test whether the inverter works before I apply it in the line.
Files
The issue is due to the output terminal (motor) not being connected to the inverter. This is a normal result and the firmware is programed to react this way for safety measures. This issue will be solved when a motor is connected to the inverter.
However, this same symptom can occur even with the motor connected. This safety program is activated according to the amount of output current generated from the inverter. If the motor capacity is too small in comparison to the inverter which results a very small output current, output voltage drop can occur.
If this program is uncomfortable and creating claims by the end users please contact regional sales personnel for assistance.
